ABOUT BRANDON
Hi, I’m Brandon. I’m a pastor, author, and keynote speaker who loves the local church and loves investing in people. I love to see kids, students, and adults own their faith and engage in life-giving kingdom work. I have worked in pastoral ministry since 2006 and find a lot of joy in being connected to the next generation, helping people discover their unique purpose, and pointing people toward the abundant life that Jesus offers.
I grew up in North Charleston, SC and spent most of my pre-ministry working life in customer service. I’ve been Married to my wife, Ashley since 2008 and we have two amazing daughters, Rilee and Piper. In 2021, I (finally) graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies.
Before returning to NextGen ministry in 2018, I spent years bouncing from job to job, struggling to figure out who I was and why I was on this earth. These years challenged me to identify my values, discover my strengths and passions, and ultimately identify my purpose. Now, I love helping others walk through their own journey toward that type of purpose. If you’re stuck in a season of wandering, I’d love to help you break free! My first book, Magic in the Mug, is all about that journey and how we can find purpose through our own stories.
God has gifted me as a speaker and preacher and has blessed me with the opportunity to speak in churches, schools, camps, retreats, and national conferences. I attempt to make my passion for the gospel obvious everytime I have the opportunity to share it.
I love Lego, Star Wars, writing, and hanging out with my girls. I have what some would call an unhealthy obsession with sneakers but I would argue that it is actually, a deep appreciation. I love speaking and teaching and I love sharing the message of Jesus while empowering others to seek out and pursue their calling through Him.
